The Female Form - Part 1by *lubyelfears

NOTE: This method is the way I was taught in year 7 art at school; I am not stating that this is the right way, just the method that works for me.

Simply ages ago,

asked for a tutorial on drawing the female form.

This is the first half of the tutorial; the whole basic figure. I shall later be uploading one on the torso specifically.

I really hope it makes sense; I am not particularly good at explaining my methods.

the height proportions are right but you made her a tiny bit too thin. the waist even on a spoon shaped woman cannot physically be half of the hips. she wouldnt be able to give birth. good for anime i guess...
